On June 8, 2022, Credit Suisse analyst Spiro Dounis boosted his price objective on EnLink Midstream, LLC (NYSE: ENLC) from $9.00 to $11.00. The Barnett acquisition and Matterhorn Express pipeline interest would increase the company’s worth. The analyst confirmed his underperform rating when ENLC paid a synergized multiple of 4.0x for the Barnett assets.
But volume growth, high natural gas prices, and subsequent asset relocations could push that multiple even lower. The project improves the company’s cash flow profile on Matterhorn by adding consistent long-haul traffic. With planned 70% LTV financing at the project level, ENLC’s capital call is only $100 million, allowing the company to generate extra FCF in the future.”
On November 2, 2021, EnLink Midstream (NYSE: ENLC) reported Q3 EPS of $0.00, $0.03 below the analyst expectation of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter was $1.79 billion, compared to the consensus forecast of $1.32 billion.
