Capital One Financial research analysts provided their projections for Host Hotels & Resorts’ earnings per share (EPS) for the fiscal year 2022 in a report released on Tuesday, December 20. The stock symbol for Host Hotels & Resorts is HST (NASDAQ: HST). N. Malkin of Capital One Financial has projected that the company will generate $1.80 per share in 2018. This figure can be expected to be distributed to shareholders in 2018. The current earnings forecast for Host Hotels & Resorts is $1.79 per share for the full year. This figure was arrived at by taking the average of all the currently available estimates. In addition, Capital One Financial projected earnings of $0.45 per share for the fourth quarter of 2022 for Host Hotels & Resorts, $0.50 per share for the first quarter of 2023, $0.53 per share for the second quarter of 2023, $0.34 per share for the third quarter of 2023, $0.49 per share for the fourth quarter of 2023, $1.86 per share for the fiscal year 2023, $0.58 per share for the first quarter of 2024, and $0.64 per share for the second quarter of 2024.

The price for Host Hotels & Resorts has ranged from $15.10 to $21.63 over the past 52 weeks, with $15.10 being the lowest and $21.63 being the highest. The stock currently trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 14.20, has a beta value of 1.23, and is worth $1.48 billion on the market. The stock has traded at a moving average price of $17.93 over the past 50 trading days, while its price has traded at a moving average price of $17.71 over the past 200 trading days. The price they had previously projected the stock would reach also reduced. Six financial analysts have recommended to investors that they buy the company’s shares, while only four have suggested that investors keep the shares they already own. The current average rating for Host Hotels & Resorts on Bloomberg.com is “Moderate Buy,” The website has a consensus target price of $22.27 for the company’s stock.

In recent months, various institutional investors, including hedge funds, have either increased or decreased the amount of HST they are holding. Jacobi Capital Management LLC increased the number of Host Hotels & Resorts stock owned by 1.9% during the second quarter of 2018. As a result of the purchase of an additional 563 shares during the relevant period, Jacobi Capital Management LLC now holds 29,485 shares of the company’s stock. After making an additional purchase of 615 shares during the relevant period, United Capital Financial Advisers LLC now holds 20,085 shares of the company’s stock, which have a combined value of $315,000. During the relevant period, these shares were acquired. Currently, 97.07% of the company’s shares are owned by hedge funds and other institutional investors.

The company also recently announced a quarterly dividend, and it is scheduled to be distributed on January 17 of this year. On December 30, the record date for dividend eligibility, shareholders who own shares will be eligible to receive dividend payments of $0.12 per share. The dividend will be withheld from shareholder accounts on Thursday, December 29. This translates into a yield of 2.90% and a dividend payment of $0.48 annually for the foreseeable future. Host Hotels & Resorts currently has a dividend payout ratio of 42.48%.
