Nike (NYSE: NKE)

Nike is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of athletic and casual footwear, apparel, and accessories. The company’s main asset is its brand recognition. Nike’s long-term growth is driven by its innovative business model, strong execution, and Nike’s strong performance. Nike is an excellent company with a solid performance with a reasonable valuation. As a result, the stock’s price has appreciated more than 20% since mid-June. The Nike Select segment is a small business unit that designs, markets, and distributes products specific to the needs of the running and fitness community. The Nike Innovation segment develops new product lines such as the Nike Vapor traction device and the Nike Flex technology. It also includes Nike’s contract manufacturing business, which makes products for other brands. The company was founded by former University of Oregon quarterback Philip Knight and former US Army officer William P. Knight in 1964 and is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon. Nike, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Nike, Inc.

Nike, Inc. reported fiscal third-quarter results posting growth in both sales and earnings. The company’s sales grew 13% year-over-year to $4.4 billion, outpacing the growth in the broader market. Nike’s good results suggest that the company’s valuation doesn’t seem too high.

So is Nike a good buy? First, let’s take a look at the numbers.

Nike is one of the world’s largest athletic footwear and apparel suppliers, operating in more than 100 countries. The company is led by CEO Mark Parker, who has been with the company since leaving his post as Adidas executive chairman in 2013. Parker’s tenure has seen Nike’s market value grow from $6 billion to more than $30 billion. With revenue of $25 billion, the company’s strong performance has positioned it as a potential acquisition target for an acquirer willing to pay a premium for the brand. The potential purchase of Nike by an outsider might come as a surprise. After all, the company is currently trading at just under 12 times earnings. However, the Nike story is much more than the average P/E ratio. The company’s P/E value results from Nike’s strong performance in recent times. Excluding the impact of one-time charges, Nike has seen its earnings multiple declines from around 23 times forward earnings in early 2016 to around 13 times forward earnings.

The site has made it possible for those looking to stay somewhere on the cheap to book accommodations that might have otherwise been off-limits to them. As a result, there are now more places to stay when traveling. And, with travelers investing in well-located hotels of a higher caliber, the industry benefits.

Traveling has never been more accessible than it is today. Thanks to the internet, acquiring a travel bug and exploring a new place has never been easier. So if you’re looking to cut the cord and book your next trip, consider exploring the world through an accommodation rental service like Airbnb. With more than 4 million listings and a host of benefits that regular hotels can’t offer, Airbnb is becoming a popular way for travelers to save money and book a place to stay that fits their budget and style. But is it right for everyone? Here’s a look at how Airbnb works, some of the pros and cons of using it as a vacation rental, and the situations you should and shouldn’t use it.

Are you an Airbnb host looking to make some money on the side? Or do you need to find housing while traveling? Or do you need a place to crash when you’re visiting friends or family? If so, then you’ve come to the right place. There are various ways that you can make money when you host on Airbnb. Some people host just for the love of hospitality and interacting with other people. Others do it for the extra cash. And then some only accept guests when they need extra cash. Of course, it’s the perfect place to make some extra cash if you have a spare bedroom and a steady stream of guests. But how can you make the most of your time as an Airbnb host? Here are a few tips for maximizing your time as an Airbnb host.

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG)

Chipotle has become one of the most popular restaurant chains in the U.S. and abroad. It has also developed a cult-like following due to its emphasis on using only natural ingredients, fair wages, and a focus on customer service.

Fast-casual dining continues to grow in popularity, with Shake Shack and Umami Burger attracting customers with a “destination dining” experience. The segment has also become more competitive, with the likes of Taco Bell and Burger King entering the space. As a result, investors seem to be valuing the stock of Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG) based on its brand, even as the company’s new menu items and promotions continue to eat into same-store sales. Is the stock overvalued or undervalued? Let’s take a look at the indicators to determine the answer.

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc (NYSE:CMG) had a fantastic third quarter, confirming the bullish view of the company’s potential. While revenue growth slowed in the quarter, third-quarter earnings beat Street estimates, and shares of the fast-casual burrito chain have nearly quintupled over the past year. However, with a stock that has risen more than 90% over the past 12 months, is Chipotle’s stock currently overvalued or undervalued? Investors should consider the implications of a rising stock market and the company’s successful third quarter before deciding.

A doubling of store traffic and a 49% increase in same-restaurant sales over the past year are some of the highlights of the past 12 months for Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG). However, what’s not so clear is whether these numbers indicate that the burrito chain is finally on the right track after years of underperformance or if the company’s recent successes still blind investors.

When you think of Fiverr, what comes to mind? Probably not a lot of positivity. The freelance market has a reputation for being cutthroat and mercenary, and the company’s reputation has only gotten worse as it’s evolved into a mainstream business. But that doesn’t mean that every company that sells services for $5 is doomed to failure. On the contrary, there are plenty of examples of smaller, lesser-known services that have thrived by leaving the cheapskate and mercenary reputation of the freelance market behind. One such company is Fiverr, a growing marketplace for services. The company recently went public and is now worth an estimated $700 million. If you had purchased stock in the company six its IPO, you would have made roughly a 5,600% profit. But what is Fiverr?

Fiverr, a once-troubled cloud-based freelance service for freelancers and small businesses has become a buy for investors. The stock initially plunged on the heels of its IPO, but it’s now a buy for long-term investors. It’s not that the company’s fundamentals have improved. The company is still losing money, and it has a lot of growth. But the stock is no longer considered a bubble stock. If you’re willing to be patient, this is a buying opportunity.

Whether you call it the new economy or the growing gig economy, the fact remains: The freelance world is a big deal right now. In the past few years, the number of people who consider themselves freelancers or subcontractors has grown exponentially. As a result, the global freelance economy is now worth about $2 trillion, and that figure will continue to grow.
